Information Technology

Approx 1300 students benefited from class I to X and approx 120 students benefited from XI to XII.
Labs are well equipped with Internet facilities and are spacious and comfortable to accommodate 40 to 50 students easily.
Lab is well maintained with white board and LCD projector.
We are running IT club activity for the students of classes VI-VIII and IX – XII. They are being enriched in this latest technology and tools introduced in the field of Information Technology.
We have introduced a power point activity to improve the interest among the students in the Information Technology. They show their keen interest towards this activity and enrich their knowledge.
We also hold inter house IT competitions among the students through out the session to keep them in touch with the latest changes in the IT field.
We conduct a Workshop on IT every year not only for the benefit of the students and staff of the DPS, Vindhyanagar but also students and teachers of the neighboring schools.
Due to keen interest and hard work of our students we are performing very well at various National/Zonal IT competitions.
Our student participated in various State and National level IT-Competition. They have earned good names for the school bagging a lot of prizes and cash awards.
DPS Society and CBSE conducted Inter School and Inter DPS workshop on Computer Science as well as on IT to enable the computer faculty to enrich their knowledge. DPS Vindhyanagar sends Computer teachers for the same purpose regularly. At school the concerned teachers conducts Seminar/Workshop for staff and students as a resource person.
Department is executed by 4 learned and experience staff members.
