The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 is a special law which has been formulated to deal with cases pertaining to child sexual abuse. POCSO Act, 2012 is a comprehensive law and provides for the legal provisions for the protection of children below 18 years of age from sexual abuse, exploitation and pornography, while safeguarding the interests of the child at every stage of the judicial process by incorporating child- friendly mechanisms for reporting, recording of evidence, investigation and speedy trial of offences through designated Special Courts. The key objective of Support Persons under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 is to provide an emotional and psychological support to child victims during the legal proceedings and further ensure their well-being and protection.

In order to ensure strict compliance with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, CBSE has taken several initiative and actions for creating awareness about sexual exploitation among the school children. Keeping this in mind, School has formed a POCSO committee which will take care of the safety & security of children, The POCSO Committee for the academic session 2024-25 is:
